Short documentary on some ’sick’ audiophiles

A friend sent me a link to watch this video on YouTube and I must share it with you guys. It’s a really well done short documentary that captured the essence of what the audio hobby is about. These folks take this hobby to extremes and it seems to be a bit crazy, but anyone that has a strong passion for something will understand. Also, it’s really funny to see the wives faces when discussing the cost of these audio systems.



Note that it’s a 20 minute video … so save it for when you have some time to watch it ;).

Propellerheads presented THOR semi-modular synthesizer and a new refill at NAMM 2007

THOR is a semi-modular synthesizer built around exchangeable components such as oscillators and filters, and a very comprehensive modulation matrix. This synthesizer is in development for a coming version of Reason 4. Below you can take sneak peak at THOR, see a video and listen to some sounds it makes. I think it will be an amazing machine to drive
