I want to let everybody what I’ve been doing last month or so … Kreativ Sound did not get much attention due to small vacation, job, work on Kaos Audio and busy day to day life, but I still managed to due some stuff in the background.
I think it’s time to let everybody know my long time plan related to KS. Later this week I will release ABYSounds Lite, another lite product (meaning that will be FREE) with the commercial version soon after. The surprise may come from the fact that is not a reason refill, but a soundpack for Native Instruments Absynth, Massive, FM8 and Pro53 synthesizers. The very nice thing is that all the presets can be used, aside from the named synths, also with Native Instruments KORE Player which is FREE.
This step is in a new direction that I planned for Kreativ Sounds this year (2008). The new direction refers to sonic expansion towards Ableton Live and Native Instruments products, while our main business will still be to create reason refills and improving our existing products. I decided to do this because I want to experiment and because there is a lot of uncharted sonic power out there.
Another good news is that we finally launched a new forum: Kreativ Sounds Forum. So please register and start discussing about your favorite software or sounds. (the design still needs a bit of touch and I hope to do it also this week). After you register on the forum you will remain logged in also if you go on the website.
Other improvement is the new star rating system, now you can vote and tell others if liked or not our free and commercial products. From a business point of view is risky to expose our products like that, but I believe that our products speak for themselves.
Minor updates consiste in updating most of the articles with new info and videos, implementing a new tagging system and also upgrading the site to Wordpress 2.5.1 …

About a year ago we launched a the new Kreativ Sounds. Now it’s time to draw a line and see some stats:
The only thing that didn’t went so well in 2007 were the sales, but I don’t mind. To be honest I expected that and I can also explain it. In 2007 I just wanted to let our products speak for themselfs. I’m very prod about our new line of products and I consider it to be of great quality and a lot better than the old products line. So I decided to not promote the products so much as in 2006, just to let quality speak. Of course it is rarely happen that a good product can sale without marketing, but after you create a brand that speaks for it’s self you’ll not need advertising anymore. Just look at Propellerheads!
So, THANK YOU for a very good year, I’m very happy that you stayed with us! Visit us in 2008 too because we planned lots of new audio goodies

29.06.2008 – 12 new links were added making a total of 74 reason related website. Now, the approximate number of reason related pages indexed is 616,000!!! You can find lots of nice free stuff with this search engine. Anyway, more is needed to it to have better search results and I also plan to include Ableton and Native Instruments resources here!
09.09.2007 – I’ve made more refinements to our the reason refills search engine and it can search now a through a total of 62 websites with free and commercial reason refills, but not only. More to come!
07.07.2007 – I’ve added over 35 new sites with free and commercial reason refills to our Custom Search Engine. I’ll see how well it works over the next days. Try it yourself and let us know how it performs and what do you think needs to be improved. Thanks!
04.07.2007 – Now Kreativ Sounds CSE can find you refills and reason patches all over the web. This search engine is in a beta stage for now, in time I hope the search will become more and more accurate.
