Tips to use the Classic Master Limiter:

Google Talk Features

• Chat Back Badge: Chat Back makes it easy for visitors to your blog or website to see if you are available and chat with you. They don’t need to be one of your contacts or even have a Google Talk account, and you can keep your Google Talk ID private. See how to set up your own Google Talk chatback badge.
  
• Translation bots: Send a message in one language and have it instantly translated into another. Just add a translation bot to your contacts using the following format: [from language]2[to language]@bot.talk.google.com. There are 24 bots available:

• Google Talk with Popout and Flickr Slideshows support: You can now do more with the Google Talk Gadget. In addition to putting the gadget on your Google Personalized Homepage, you can pop out the gadget into a separate, small window anytime. This way you can navigate to other websites and still keep your contact list and chats open. And just like running the gadget on your homepage, this way of using Google Talk is completely web-based, and requires no download. If you have your own webpage or blog, you can also add a button to your site so your visitors can pop out the Google Talk Gadget when they visit your page. If you want them to chat with you, just list your username next to the button and ask visitors to sign in and add you as a contact. • Windows Vista and Windows 7 Support: Now you can now use Google Talk with Microsoft Windows Vista and Microsoft Windows 7 Operating Systems.
• Orkut integration: Google Talk makes it easier than ever to chat with more of your friends. If you use Orkut, Google’s free social networking service, you can chat or place Internet phone calls with your Orkut friends using Google Talk. Orkut friends will automatically appear in your Friends list, and you’ll find out instantly if you’ve received a new Orkut scrap.
  
  
  
• Offline Messages: Now if your friends have chat history enabled, you can send them messages even when they’re not online. Just enter a message into the chat window as you would normally, and they’ll get it the next time they sign into Google Talk. In Gmail, offline messages can be searched and organized, just like instant messages in their chat history.
• File Transfer: With this top requested new feature, you can send unlimited files and folders to your friends through Google Talk. There is no restriction on the file type or size and the peer-to-peer transfer is fast and reliable. Google Talk allows you to send files to your friends, right from your chat window! You can share photos, videos, or documents with the click of a button – there’s no restriction on file size or file type. Sending a photo will insert a preview of the image directly into the chat session, so that your friend can see it right away. Other file types can be opened from the chat window, and will launch in their default application*. They’ll also be saved to your hard drive for later.
  
• Voicemail: If a friend isn’t around to answer your call, now you can leave a voicemail. You can even leave voicemail messages for your friends who don’t use Google Talk–they’ll receive an email with the message attached as an audio file. Google Talk allows you to leave a voicemail for any of your contacts, whether they’re logged in to Google Talk or not. Ramble on for up to 10 minutes, and they’ll be able to retrieve your message from their Gmail account at any time. You can even send a message straight to their voicemail without first ringing them. To leave a message, call a contact and let it ring – voicemail will pick up after 4 rings. Or, click the down arrow from any profile card or chat window to access the options menu and select Send voicemail.
  
• Music Status: Listening to music while on Google Talk? Now you can let your friends see what you’re listening to by selecting Show current music track in your status menu. Your status message will change when your song does! If you’d like to show your contacts what music you’re listening to at that very moment, select Show current music track from your status drop-down menu. If you stop your music, your status will display as Available.
  
• Pictures and themes: See pictures in your Friends list and chat sessions. Pick a picture for yourself and customize where you see your friends’ pictures. Now you can also change the appearance of your chat sessions.
