English singer Adele released her second album named 21 after her age at the time of its production. The record is inspired by a rocky the relationship she had at that time that ended in a breakdown. Since production begin immediately her relationship was terminated, Adele channeled her heartbreak and depression into the composition of songs. The album received worldwide critical acclaim for its vintage authenticity, lyrical depth, as well as Adele’s vocal performance. As far as I know, Adele’s 21 is the best selling album of 2011 by far, having sold a staggering 13 million copies by the end of the year.

Even tough this album contains only one new song, This Is It is great for all Michael Jackson as it contains many of his best singles remastered. The new song, This Is It, that also gives the name of the “Best Of” album, is really worth at least one listen by anyone, as it sums up all Michael has achieved trough his stellar carrier.

Tycho (Scott Hansen) released his first and eagerly anticipated album called DIVE, after a few extended plays that already got him a lot of recognition with electronic music listeners and also gained him many fans. As the album name says, DIVE propose an immersion into sweet, soft, nostalgia Boards of Canada like sounds! I listened the album many times during the last 2 month and I honestly can say that it is a true find. Check it out!

British electro-dance act The Prodigy have reunited to record their fifth regular studio album Invaders Must Die after the critical acclaimed 2004′s Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned album which was basically entirely produced only by Liam Howlett, the group founder. The band have said that the album will go back to their “old-school but cutting edge” roots and will be released as a CD, CD/DVD set, Double vinyl, luxury 7-inch vinyl box set and a digital download. After the album release, The Prodigy plans a UK tour starting April 2009.
