If you haven’t seen it yet, there’s a new interview on Props website featuring DJ Gerald Simpson aka A Guy Called Gerald. This is an interesting interview because he is using Reason for live perfomances … nice!
A Guy Called Gerald is best known for his work in acid house scene from the late ’80s and for the track Voodoo Ray. At that time, he specialised in techno music produced using equipment such as the Roland TB-303 bass synthesiser and the TR-808 drum machine.
His latest album called Proto Acid / The Berlin Sessions, released in August 2006 is a continuous mix album and is a definite return to the dancefloor. It was created entirely in Reason!
