The hugely anticipated Reason 4 was announced by (the very secretive) Propellerhead Software … oh boy, this took me by surprise :O. Now that you’ve just read the headline, you might ask yourself “So, what is new?” Here we go …

THOR - The Polysonic Synthesizer
As you already know Propellerheads presented Thor at 2007 Winter NAMM Show. Thor is a modular synthesizer and sounds like nothing you’ve ever heard before by featuring six different oscillator types and four unique filters.
Here you’ll find all the information about different versions of LOOPSalad V1 (audio loops, reason refills and mini packs):
Version 1.5.1 - 12 November 2007
- 52 original Reason patches (18 Combinator instruments, 16 Malstrom and 16 Subtractor patches)
- all patches were created to work best with LOOPSalad.
- the patches work only with Reason 4 or higher versions

- 105 new audio loops

Another first from the Props. Propellerhead Software and Abbey Road Studios partnered to produce Abbey Road Keyboards ReFill for Reason. The refill consist of seven unique Hypersampled instruments and Combinator patches for various microphone blends, processed combinator patches and template pre-wired user patches.
